Mastro Eke Chijindu Favour Hedges is the Founder and Executive Director of Imo City Chorale and Orchestra, Owerri, he is a composer, director, organist, a music influencer and teacher. He was born on the 22nd of November 1993 in his home town Ziama Autonomous Community in Isiala Mbano LGA Imo State Nigeria, he is the 3rd child of his parents, he is a Master Degree holder in Statistics from Imo State University Nigeria and he is an Anglican. He is a musical sensation and also the Director of World Classical Music Outreach. His works/compositions finely blends classics with modern contemporaries like never before, what makes his works outstanding are the originality, dynamics, melodic harmony, rise in the pace of his works, and the ability to electrify listeners thereby creating a bound between the two. He started his musical career at the age of 13 years with the help of his father EKE CHIBUEZE HEDGES who is a musicologist.
Eke Chijindu Favour Hedges has composed many works like Endless Praise Music Book, The Death and Resurrection Music Book, Glorious Exaltate Music Book, In His Presence Music Book, Hedges No Way Out Music Book, Hedges Symphonia Music Book, Hedges Piano Works Music Book, Things Fall Apart Musicals, My Folk Songs, Kings Dairy Opera, Prince of Askalon Opera, Opera for COVID 19 etc and also many Native works. He became popular in choral music all over the Nigerian and beyond after composing the award wining books Endless Praise and Glorious Exaltate and My Native which contains the popular Arrival of Donald Trump Symphony, Mozart Memorial Song (Give Thanks Unto the Lord), Handel Memorial Song (Hallelujah to the Lord) and the popular Buru Hallelujah. He has traveled to different part of the world for performances and he is best know for his creativity both in composition, organ and conducting. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Prestigious Imo City Chorale and Orchestra Owerri, he was also the formal Director in charge of Government House Chapel Choir Imo State and Vox Anglican Chorale Owerri.
